Greenwich Afghan Resettlement Service

Bespoke bilingual signposting and advocacy support project for Afghans in Royal Borough of Greenwich. The Afghan Resettlement Project provides comprehensive, trauma-informed support for Afghan families arriving in the Royal Borough of Greenwich under the ACRS and ARAP schemes.

The service helps families rebuild their lives through personalised casework, community integration, and long-term independence planning.

How we can help?

Our team delivers personalised casework from arrival through 36 months, including housing induction, ESOL enrolment, healthcare and school registration, benefits access, employment referrals, and wellbeing support.

Families receive intensive home visits in the first weeks, structured integration plans over 12 months, a continuous drop-in service, and community-building activities to support independence.

We work closely with the Council, NHS, ESOL networks, and voluntary sector partners to ensure every family can rebuild their life safely, confidently, and with dignity.
