Lewisham Ukraine Permission Extension Scheme Support projects is helping Ukrainian families extend their stay in the UK.
Our bilingual caseworkers will ensure that Ukrainian guests living in Lewisham can confidently access and complete the Ukraine Permission Extension (UPE) process, enabling them to legally remain in the UK and continue rebuilding their lives with stability and dignity

Designed to help Ukrainians confidently apply for an extension of their permission to stay in the UK.
Each workshop includes:
A live demonstration of the application on the UK government portal
Step-by-step guidance in both Ukrainian and English
Tips on how to avoid mistakes and delays
A checklist of required documents
An open Q&A to answer your questions
The workshops are free of charge and open to all Ukrainians in Lewisham.

The sessions take place on the last Friday of every month and are especially useful for those who need to submit their UPE application in the following month.

Our support is completely FREE for Ukrainian in Lewisham. You can get help from our trained caseworkers, join our workshops, or ask questions through WhatsApp, Telegram or email — all at no cost.

The Ukraine Permission Extension Scheme (UPE) allows Ukrainians living in the UK under one of the Ukraine Schemes to extend their stay for an additional 18 months. The application is completely free.

You can apply if:
– You already have permission to stay in the UK under one of the Ukraine Schemes
– You are currently in the UK at the time of applying
– You have lived in the UK (or Crown Dependencies such as Jersey, Guernsey or the Isle of Man) since receiving your previous permission to stay

If you came to the UK under one of the Ukraine Schemes (Homes for Ukraine, Ukraine Family Scheme, Ukraine Extension Scheme) and your visa is close to expiring, you may be eligible to apply for an extension under UPE. We can help you check your eligibility.

You can only apply when there are 28 days or fewer left on your current visa. Make sure to submit your application before your current permission expires. Don’t wait until the last minute — we can help you start early and avoid stress.
