Anti-bullying Week 2024
At New Arrivals Support CIC (NASCIC), we are committed to fostering safe, inclusive, and supportive environments for Ukrainian children and young people who have resettled in the UK. Through our Ukrainian Youth Project and Maliatko Project, we provide spaces where young refugees feel valued, empowered, and encouraged to express themselves freely. These initiatives are vital in combating bullying and ensuring that every child experiences a sense of belonging and emotional well-being.
Supporting Well-Being and Emotional Resilience
The Ukrainian Youth Project and Maliatko Project are designed to promote mental health, emotional resilience, and self-confidence. By offering well-being services, peer support, and co-designed activities, we equip children and teenagers with the tools they need to navigate their new lives in the UK. Our approach focuses on self-advocacy, mutual respect, and community integration, reducing feelings of isolation and helping young newcomers build meaningful connections.
Co-Designed Activities for Lasting Impact
At NASCIC, we believe in the power of co-designed programs that reflect the real needs of the children and young people we support. Our activities encourage open dialogue, creative expression, and skill-building, ensuring that participants develop social confidence and resilience. By empowering youth voices, we create an environment where every child feels safe and supported, free from the fear of bullying or discrimination.
Nurturing a Future Free from Bullying
Bullying can have lasting effects on young refugees, making it even more critical to establish safe and inclusive communities. Through our projects, New Arrivals Support CIC works to prevent bullying by fostering cultural understanding, emotional well-being, and strong peer relationships. We encourage children to stand up for themselves and others, reinforcing the values of respect, kindness, and inclusion.
