New Arrivals Support CIC Shortlisted for Inclusive Employer Champion Award

We are delighted to announce that New Arrivals Support CIC has been officially shortlisted as a finalist in the Inclusive Employer Champion Award category at the Best of Royal Greenwich Business Awards 2026, organised by the Royal Borough of Greenwich.

The Royal Greenwich Business Awards celebrate outstanding organisations that contribute to the borough’s economic strength, innovation and community wellbeing. Being nominated in the Inclusive Employer Champion Award category recognises the measurable social impact New Arrivals Support CIC has made across Greenwich and South East London through frontline refugee and migrant support services.

As a grassroots Community Interest Company based in the Royal Borough of Greenwich, NASCIC was founded in response to the Ukrainian displacement crisis and has since expanded to support refugees, asylum seekers and newly arrived migrant families from multiple communities. Our work combines bilingual casework, advocacy, youth programmes, ESOL provision, safeguarding support and integration services. We operate as a trusted local hub where new arrivals can access practical guidance on housing, welfare, healthcare, education and employment.

This nomination for Inclusive Employer Champion Award highlights the importance of migrant-led and community-based organisations within Greenwich’s local economy. Our work not only addresses immediate crises but also strengthens long-term stability for families rebuilding their lives in the UK. By preventing inequality, reducing barriers to essential services and supporting young people’s development, we contribute to safer, more cohesive neighbourhoods across the borough.

Being named a finalist at the Royal Greenwich Business Awards 2026 is a powerful acknowledgment of the dedication of our multilingual caseworkers, youth practitioners, volunteers and partners. It also reflects the resilience and strength of the communities we serve. Every consultation, workshop and mentoring session represents progress toward integration, independence and belonging.

The Best of Royal Greenwich Business Awards bring together local businesses, social enterprises and community organisations that are shaping the future of the borough. For New Arrivals Support CIC, this recognition increases visibility for refugee and migrant support services in Greenwich and reinforces the value of inclusive growth within the local business landscape.

We are proud to represent grassroots leadership within the Royal Borough of Greenwich and to stand alongside other finalists who are driving positive change. As we look ahead to the awards ceremony, we remain committed to expanding our services, deepening partnerships and continuing to advocate for equitable access to housing, education, healthcare and employment for all new arrivals.
