At New Arrivals Support CIC, we believe in the power of books to preserve identity, foster connection, and create community. That’s why we launched The Heritage Bookshelf—the first Ukrainian community library in South East London, dedicated to supporting Ukrainian refugees, migrants, and new arrivals through access to Ukrainian literature.

And the response has been incredible.

In just one day, our new Ukrainian library project has seen:

👥 Hundreds of interested readers
💷 £110 raised from community supporters

💬 One Ukrainian parent told us:

“I checked the library catalogue, and the book collection is simply amazing! I'm so happy that New Arrivals Support made this happen—opening the first Ukrainian library in South East London!”

But this is only the beginning.

🎯 Our Goal: 300 More Books by April 9, 2025

We're now working to expand our library collection from 300 to 600 Ukrainian books—and we need your help to make it happen. With a fundraising goal of £3,000, we’ll be able to purchase and ship 300 additional books directly from Ukrainian publishers to our community library in London.
